Mechanical Systems Design
Through my mechanical systems design course, I've had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, iterating on designs, and analysis of performance. For our midterm project, teams of four students were challenged to create a small crawler machine from an electric motor, and Lego kit, and other various office supplies that had to travel down a tunnel navigating obstacles, capture a package, and return back to the start. This project challenged me to think critically how systems design choices can be manipulated to reach a certain level of performcance and efficiency.
